Integrity, fairness and sustainability as standards for our behaviour in all business processes
The combination of corporate activity with ethical principles has a long tradition in our family-owned company and is one of the key features of our company's development. We know that long-term success depends on the basic conditions of the employees involved. For this reason, we apply clear principles of conduct that translate our self-concept as a fair, competent and reliable partner into an actual business culture.
Since we also require our suppliers to comply with the same principles of our Code of Conduct, we have developed a Supplier Code of Conduct setting out the social, ecological and ethical standards that are binding for us. These standards have been put in place specifically to ensure compliance with our corporate due diligence obligations in the supply chain.
As an internationally active family-run business, we are acutely aware of the environmental and human rights risks associated with a globally branching supply chain and are taking steps to actively counter these challenges in order to uphold human rights and environmental protection in our supply chain. To do this, in addition to our Code of Conduct for Suppliers, we have drawn up a mission statement in compliance with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz, LkSG).
Any indication of a violation of our Code of Conduct or of any other type of compliance infringement by the SARSTEDT Group, its employees*, business partners or other stakeholders can also be submitted via our digital complaints reporting system in addition to the reporting channels set out in our Code of Conduct. Please read the following guideline on the purpose of the complaints reporting system and how to use it.
