ホルムアルデヒドはヒトに有毒で、直接触れるると皮膚炎を引き起こすことがあるため、問題になっています。たとえ低濃度であっても癌を誘発する恐れがあります。当社のホルマリンシステムは、ユーザーがホルマリンに触れないよう、また組織標本をコンタミすることなく固定することが可能な密閉ユニットです。組織標本は採取後、中性で調製液無しのS-Monovette®に入れることが出来ます。その後、S-Monovette®はザルスタットホルマリンシステムに接続され、ホルマリンが充填されます。固定化はこれで終了です。
