血漿解凍および血液成分加温装置SAHARA-IIIは、プラスチックバッグ内に充填された血液成分の解凍や加温に使用されます。加温の際に水を熱伝導媒介物として使用することなく、乾燥状態で実施します。このシステムは、異なる血液製剤および量を同時に調整できます。 加温時間と温度は、各血液製剤用に自動的に設定されますので、人があらかじめ設定する必要はありません。
